After so much toiling, so much stress and anxiety, I have finally finished making my room divider using cardboard spools from train staion ticket machines. It was a very tedious but satifying journey. Now, I am so tired I think i need to take a break. The graduate show is on the 2nd of june. Boy! Am i pleased!
After going through all the various processes of creating a bandage plaster cast of my bust, making a positive cast in plaster, using this to make a negative mould from silicone rubber and then creating an aggregate cast with the use of shredded paper and shopping bags, I have finally completed the Three Dimensional project….

A window blind made from till roll receipt spools. It is decorative and functional. The Arrangement can be hung in strips adapted to a mechanism, which is why the lower half is left to hang loose to portray this idea.
