It’s wrapped in metallic foil ribbons and each modular shape that is upright has a Swarovski Crystal pendant. The base is stacked and stencilled with the image of quetzalcoatl the Aztec snake god which symbolizes sustainability.
The sustainable footwear that started as an experiment into the use of cardboard spools to make shoes is now complete and it will feature in my exhibition “Waste to Glamour” (Part II) Starting on the 8th of December 2011 at my studio in Stratford, London. See above flyer for details.
