In commemoration of the Queen of England’s Diamond Jubilee, this humorous print was created not to mock the Queen, but to show her in a way she had never been seen before – as the queen of chavs – the hoop earings, huge red bow, and the very common, ‘rough’ talking of an otherwise posh Queen, symbolizes this to great effect. The droplets of blood however, represents the heros who have laid down their lives for Queen and country, hence why it’s ouzing from the rossette on her dress. The design was inspired by the wax work of the Queen in Madam Tussauds in London.
