– ETHICAL BAGS /ACCESSORIES LAUNCH

Hitting the runway at: CARGO, 83 Rivington Street London, EC2A 3AY

14th November 2012, starts 8pm.

Look effortlessly cool & casual in our Fashion with a conscience!

There is no need to go around with very boring, drab looking bags that don’t reflect your colourful and interesting personality, help disadvantaged societies or show that you have style all wrapped up in one.

Adey Thani, under the brand name AdeySapphire, has designed a range of fashion bags for men and women who not only want to look cool and trendy, but want to give something back to handicraft makers in disadvantaged societies. They are a scrupulous collection of messenger bags, rucksacks, make-up cases and women’s duffel bags with bead trimmings, made from hand-woven naturally dyed cotton, with so much attention to detail and named after popular places in London and the UK.

The designer is a great fan of colours and he has used the colour impressions from these places to create the autumn collection using very earthy colour ways of reds, browns, yellows and greens which has resulted in a very impressive range or bags.

With a background in ethical design the designer feels that people in disadvantaged communities are hardly given a chance to compete with machine processed textiles or finding contemporary uses for these kinds of products in industrialized societies, hence why he has created these range of bags using Jaagim which is a good quality, affluent textile material hand-woven from pure natural cotton from the Middle East.

The messenger bags will conveniently store IPADS/TABLETS, KINDLES, with lots more room to keep other personal items like a wallet and mobile phone, while stylishly going about ones daily business. The rucksacks are standard sized and have enough pockets to stow away bottles of water for those always on the go, an inside pocket, and lots of room to keep other personal possessions, while the ladies duffel bags have lots of room to keep their personal effects and other bits.

The range is ideal for everybody and anyone who also wants to contribute their quota while stylishly creating a sustainably ethical global environment by generating an income for the less well off craftsmen and women in not-so-well-off communities making the world go round indeed.
